Airsoft laws in the UK?

Hi i just have a question about the laws with airsoft guns in the uk. first i know you have to be 18 to purchase a airsoft gun but do you need to be 18 to use one. and is it ok to have an airsoft gun with an orange tip insted of half coulourd or half transparent. if anyone can answer any of the question that would be fab!
