How often should i do water changes in my fish tank?

its 5 gallon rectangle with 3 neon tetra in it. how often should i change the water? It is not cycled i just got it on Saturday put fish in it on Sunday and then fed them and they ate. i did a 20% water change today but how much should i do and how often?
