Is Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld a good book?

im reading this for English cl. i really wanna know if it's interesting or not bcuz i rly dont wanna read another boring book again =__= also, tell me if it's hard to understand or if it's too easy, I'm in 9th grade. thnx!
