Viruses are considered non-living scientifically. What I don't get is how people talk about "killing" viruses. How can a virus be killed? It is non-living, and even though it has some life-like properties, it technically cannot be killed. All it is is a strand of DNA/RNA enclosed by a capsid of protein. How do you kill such an entity? This has just really been bugging me, especially with all of the talk about the H1N1 flu recently.
