Should I tell her now or later?? PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a friend who is 9 yrs my senior (I'm 23, she'll be 32 this Nov) We've been close friends for about 3 yrs now. I am currently in Indy, she's in the ATL, but I plan to move back in the fall sometime. She knows that I like her, but she doesn't know that I've been in love with her for awhile now. I went to go see her late March, early April and I wanted to tell her soooooo bad. She has a 5 yr old girl who likes me and I adore her. Despite our age difference and where we are in life right now, we pretty much have the same goals. I don't know if I should wait until I get there to tell her, or should I let her know now. Now I know that love hurts because every month that goes by, it eats me up inside not letting her know how I feel. Hellllppp Meeeee!!!
