Mitt Romney's religion--role in presidential race?

Do you think Mitt Romney's relgion will pay any role in his presidential campaign? Do you think people will vote for or against him because of his religion? I live in New England, where most people arn't willing to concider Romney anyway, so I was wondering what other people thought about his relgion (he's mormon) and how that will effect his presidental run.
